It’s that time again folks! Better late than never!

For all you would-be writers out there, who can’t wait to start blogging, we want to hear from you! All first year students are welcome to apply!! Both those starting their first semester and those who already started in March! We need you all!

The First Year blog is soon commencing its second round of posts from first year bloggers.  We would love to hear entries about your current state of student life – be it overwhelmed by all the new stuff, gearing up for wk 4 assignment due dates all over again, or WHATEVER!  The only guidelines are 500-1000 words limit, and La Trobe must be painted in a positive light – we are here to encourage, after all.

Successful applications will be published here!!

Please email entries to newstudents@latrobe.edu.au by this Sunday, 25th August, 5pm, from your student email account only.  Our new authors will be published Monday 26th at 2pm with the other posts.  You must be able to answer your email Sunday night or Monday morning to set up your blog account in order to publish.  The commitment will then be ongoing weekly for 5 wks until wk 10.

Images and gifs welcome!! You can either send your application as a saved blog entry in Word, or within the email.

Successful bloggers may be eligible for the La Trobe Award.

Look forward to seeing your work people!
